Focus: Original and impactful medical research in dermatology and related interdisciplinary sciences
Innovation: Fostering innovation in skin health, oncology, endocrinology, and systemic diseases with dermatological impact
Award Amount: Up to IDR 500,000,000 (5 teams awarded in 2025)

Research Scope

Face & Body Skin

  • Skin barrier, inflammation, pigmentation
  • Acne, sensitive skin
  • Skin diseases (eczema, psoriasis, diabetic skin, etc.)
  • Dry skin, oily skin, UV protection
  • Skin cleansing, sweat & body odor
  • Skin aging, microbiome

Hair & Scalp

  • Dandruff, flaky scalp, scalp itching
  • Acne scalp, oily scalp, dry scalp
  • Seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis
  • Alopecia, hair loss

Grant Proposal Structure

Application Timeline

Call for proposal launch: August 23, 2025
Submission deadline: October 31, 2025 (23.59 WIB)
Eligibility screening: November 2025
Review and evaluation by jury: November – December 2025
Announcement of awardees: December 7, 2025

Eligible Applicants

Primary Investigators (PI)

  • Must be based in Indonesia at the time of application and throughout the project duration
  • Must hold a position at an accredited academic institution, hospital, or research center
  • Must demonstrate prior experience in conducting research projects, preferably with at least one peer-reviewed publication or relevant equivalent

Co-Investigators and Collaborators

  • May include experts from diverse medical specialties (e.g., oncology, endocrinology, internal medicine, surgery)
  • International collaborators are permitted, provided that the majority of work and funding usage remains in Indonesia

Submission Platform

Electronic submission: Applications must be submitted electronically via the LABORÉ Research Grant Portal (website)
No alternative methods: Submission by email, post, or in-person delivery will not be considered
Early registration advised: Applicants are strongly advised to register early to avoid technical difficulties during final submission

Research Focus Requirements

Primary/Original Research: Applications must propose primary/original research
Grant Alignment: Projects must clearly align with the defined scope of the grant
Feasibility: Proposals must demonstrate feasibility within the one-year timeframe and budget limit
